As SCM we want to provide a safe space on campus for students to explore the Christian faith together in a challenging and open-minded way.

We meet in Hillhead Baptist Church, Cresswell Street (in the Tryst- clearly signposted)

Let's get this show on the road...

Between now and Christmas we will have a few introductory sessions based around previous annual themes of the national movement.

We will start with a visit from Rosie, the SCM links worker. Details of that just as soon as there are some!

10th November : Life in All its Fullness
For this session we are delighted to welcome Br Stephen Smyth, the General Secretary of ACTS (Action of Churches Together in Scotland) and a member of the Marist brothers. Stephen will be leading us in a Contextual Bible Study on the theme of 'life in all its fullness'.

24th November : Small World (Interconnectedness in a Global Community)
For this session we will be welcoming Rev Canon Prof John Riches, Emeritus Professor of Divinity and Biblical Criticism at Glasgow University and canon theologian in the Scottish Episcopal Church. John will be speaking to us on the theme of "small world".

8th December : Liberating Gender
Dr Phil Cotton, who is, amongst many things a GP working with refugees and victims of torture, a fairtrade campaginer and a Methodist local preacher and Jake Tatton, a minister and singer-songwriter with a passion for social justice (her album new kingdom calling is out now on itunes) *cough* plug *cough* will be speaking to us on the theme of 'liberating gender'
